‘THE PLAY’S THE THING’

Curtain's Up: See Behind the Scenes!

This will be your invitation to explore the inner workings of our theatre company.

We haven’t got this page up and running yet, so please check back soon for some exciting updates.

You will have a chance to meet the cast in videos, discover how we bring your texts to life, and explore the plays we perform in schools. Your chance to go backstage!

Resources: Our actors help you revise!

Open each production below for backstage insights. See us perform key quotes and give our personal opinions on the characters and plays.

From Script to Show: Putting on a Production

We often get asked questions by students about what it is like to work as an actor.

This is a page all about how we put our shows together, how we rehearse, and what it is like being a Globe Player. We are working on it and there will be more to see here over the coming months.

And to look out for familiar faces who have visited your school!

Literally theatre in school at its best. 14 year old boy, not interested in English, let alone Shakespeare, comes home wanting to relive it! First thing he said through the door – he loved retelling me the funny bits!

Katy, Parent at Hampton High, October 2024

The students totally loved the shows. Students here don’t visit the theatre. Seeing the performances today was unlike anything they’ve seen before. Their minds have been blown!

Samia Rahman, Alperton School.

The energy, creativity, and talent displayed by the entire cast were truly remarkable, and it was clear how much effort went into every aspect of the production. It was a joy to see both the children and adults in the audience thoroughly enjoying themselves.
