What they have said about us…2026
I just wanted to send an email to say, WOW! We had the wonderful cast yesterday with us for ‘An Inspector Calls’ and what an incredible experience it was. The students were immersed and engaged in the performance and came out buzzing about having the opportunity. They especially loved the break in scenes with explanations and how the actors embodied different characters with props and different voices…What an incredible experience! The Globe Players visited Gillotts to perform ‘An Inspector Calls’ for our Year 10 and 11 students. Their energetic, thought-provoking and professional production brought the play to life with tension and excellent character work. Students were highly engaged throughout the performance. A thoughtful and insightful question-and-answer session afterwards allowed students to explore the characters and ideas further, with the talented actors helping to connect the themes of Priestley’s play to issues in our modern world. Every single one of our yea r 11 students thoroughly enjoyed the shows, and they were all talking about how much they had learned from the experience. The actors were brilliant and extremely engaging so please do thank them from all here at The Quest. Sarah Connolly, The Quest Academy 27th March 2026

I just wanted to say thank you for your actors coming in to perform Romeo and Juliet this week at St Peter’s. The year 9 students really enjoyed themselves, and the feedback was really positive. Thank you again for travelling to us, and delivering a great performance/workshop.

A huge thank you to you and the actors who joined us at Whitelands on Wednesday. The performances were so engaging and the actors were fantastic responding to students in the Q&A. We have had really positive feedback from the students who found the performances entertaining and really helpful for developing their understanding of the plays. I will be in touch to book for next year.

Thank you very much for organising the visit of the Globe Players last week to perform ‘Macbeth’ and ‘An Inspector Calls’. All the staff and students agreed that they were excellent performances which will really help our students to prepare for their GCSE’s.

Just wanted to send a quick email to thank everyone for an amazing two days of theatre…When chatting to the students I have been struck by how much you made the plays make sense for them, they have taken a great deal away from this experience and I know it will help their GCSE scores….they had no idea that Shakespeare could be so funny!
Milly Lawson, Newark and Sherwood District Council 12th Feb 2026
Just wanted to say a big thank you to the actors who visited us yesterday.
The children really enjoyed it and I hope your actors did too.
Hopefully you’d be happy to repeat this again next year!
